Brandy Myers disappeared going door to door in the Sunnyslope area of Phoenix, Arizona.
May 28, 1992
Remains of a teen girl with a similar description to Brandy was found. She was later identified as Shannon Aumock.
November 8, 1992
Angela Brosso went missing on a bike ride along the Arizona Canal in Phoenix. Her body was found the next day.
September 21, 1993
Melanie Bernas went missing while on a bike ride along the Arizona Canal in Phoenix. Her body was found the next day. Her clothing had been removed and she was redressed in a teal bodysuit.
1994
A tip came in naming Bryan Patrick Miller as someone who may have owned a teal bodysuit. The lead was not followed up on.
2014
Forensic genetic genealogy narrowed down the Canal Killer’s DNA to the surname Miller.
January 2, 2015
An undercover agent obtained Bryan Miller’s DNA and it was a match. After his arrest, his ex wife came forward telling a story about Bryan Miller’s murder of a developmentally delayed child who knocked on his door for a fundraiser. It is believed he was talking about Brandy Myers.
April 2023
Bryan Patrick Miller was convicted of two murders. He did not stand trial for Brnady’s murder as the DA rejected the case.
June 2023
Bryan Miller was given the death penalty.
Brandy Myers has been missing from Phoenix, Arizona since May 26, 1992.
She was 13 years old.
She was last seen wearing pink and yellow eyeglasses, a green t-shirt, a denim skirt, white socks and size 6 pink and white high-top Pro King sneakers.
