A man walking through the woods near Donna Hall’s apartment came on Michael’s jeep backed up to a small ravine. About 21 meters from the Jeep, he found the bodies of 18 year old Donna Hall and 21 year old Michael Margaret.

The first known victims of the Colonial Parkway killings were found about 55 miles from Richmond, VA.
2022
After years of attempts to test DNA in Donna Hall and Michael Margaret’s case, a private lab extracted evidence that could be used against the killer.
January 2024
DNA from one of the Colonial Parkway killings was matched to the late Alan W. Wilmer Sr. Testing is ongoing to determine if he can be linked to other murders in the area.
