9:30p: Irasema Chavez called her sister and asked if she would sleepover. She didn’t want to drive at night so she invited Irasema to her home instead. Irasema turned down the invitation.
11:29p: Someone knocks on Irasema’s door. They are seen on security video standing there for over a minute before being let in.
11:40p (approx): Irasema Chavez’s security cameras are disconnected from the receiver.
January 20, 2012
Morning: Irasema’s body was found by her 17-year-old niece. A drop of blood was found on a night stand and sent to the lab.
August 2012
The police release the footage from Irasema’s security camera and identify the person as a man. Lab results on the DNA indicate the killer was actually female.
2018
Parabon Nanolabs releases a DNA “snapshot” of the suspect.
