My thoughts:
I found this case when I was looking for topics for my TikTok/Reels/Shorts content. Yes, in addition to the podcast, I’ve also been making video content as I’ve had the time and energy for it.
Something that struck me about this case when I watched the DNA of a Murder episode on this case was the shame/embarrassment the families carried. Their loved ones weren’t just found murdered, they were found murdered while doing something “bad”. When Paul Holes looked at Roger’s brother and told him that nothing his brother did caused his murder, you can tell that it was something he needed to hear. I hope that the complication in their grief has resolved because there is nothing Roger or Rose could have done to deserve what happened to them.
And thanks to developments in DNA technology and investigations, resolution is around the corner.
Thank you so much for listening!

The Amana Axe Murder sounds like a case that would have happened in 1910. But it happened in 1980 and in spite of developments in DNA, it remains unsolved. But two similar cases point to a single suspect with an odd signature. Could he have committed this crime too?
